the driver framework is just a extra.But the setup also supports installing only the DDK.
The IFS is just some extension to the DDK to create file system drivers. But the ce sourcecode comes with a open ifs.h file that it uses, so not much need to get that (perhaps a little less complete helpfile)
Also, if you use ce 5.2's source and rename the driver's internal name to driver1111 and put it in celite's folder it'll work as well. (even better because it takes care of the keservicetable crap, and the PAE extension)
